“We really enjoyed staying here. The view from the verandah was stunning. Gardens beautiful and well maintained. Cleaning excellent. Large fridge and freezer. We cooked every day and used the 2 Gas rings and the small electric grill and oven. Wildlife is great. Monkeys, ghekkos, birds and more but we’ll let you find out if you stay here. Had a drink in the Castaway resort bar most evenings and watched the sunset. Torch provided for evenings out.”

“Location was wonderful. The place is peaceful and quiet, far (but not too far) from the road, surrounded with beautiful nature and lovely garden. Freedom estate is really close to everything you need - store, good restaurants and, of course, the beach. Our hosts were really nice; they picked us up at the pier when we came on Lanta and drove us there when we were leaving what was a really nice gesture.”

“We were collected at the port by our host Rolf and taken to the Freedom Estate. What a great service! It really is a super location, directly opposite the Long beach, which in our opinion is the best beach on Koh Lanta. Moreover, you have everything you need in the neighbourhood including some great authentic Thai restaurants. We were given lots of tips by our hosts and felt very at home there. The views from our apartment's large terrace were superb. All in all a great place to stay and definitely our favourite of the seven places we stayed at in Thailand.”

“We really loved our stay here. The apartment was just like in the pictures. There were many useful kitchen appliances and a bunch of dvds to watch. The bed was very comfortable. The sheets and towels were clean and white. The cleaning ladies took really good care of us and changed our sheets and towels many times during our stay. They also brought us plenty of filtered drinking water daily that was really nice. Rolf even picked us up from the harbor and dropped us off at the bus stop when we left. We also had a lovely view of sunsets from our terrace.”

· Krásné a klidné prostředí zahrady, terasa s výhledem na moře, vše bez chyby. Pokud tam ještě někdy pojedu, tak se ubytuji právě zde. Lednice i s mrazákem (na zmrzlinu), vybavená kuchyň (nepotřebovali jsme, ale na delší pobyt super).

We have been to Ko Lanta four times, staying at five different places. We've stayed directly on the beachfront, along the main road near the beach, and finally here at Freedom Estate. We returned again to Freedom Estate after our initial visit, and then extended our stay there because it was so lovely and peaceful.
It's as everyone else has has already said...spacious, spotlessly clean, well appointed, great wifi, beautiful large veranda to enjoy early morning bird song and gorgeous sunsets, everything you need. The one and only drawback for some would be the climb up the hill. It was a little strenuous but we got used to it. It's about a five minute walk to the main road, another few to the most wonderful beach, and well worth it. We plan to return for an extended stay next time.
Freedom Estate is a real treat: spacious and clean appartment, possibility to make breakfast yourself, beautiful scenery, very friendly owners. Far enough from the busy street, but close enough to the beach and restaurants.
Wat een prachtig appartement, super goed verzorgd, netjes en erg schoon. De eigenaren zijn echt super vriendelijk, brachten ons zelfs naar de andere accommodatie! Het enige nadeel is de klim (en in de avond onverlicht) naar boven, maar als dat alles is ;-) Dan heb je de Phad Thai er ook alweer af!
We stayed here on a family holiday it was Very clean, nice people, stunning views, nice spacious rooms with kitchenette and ensuit plus everything you need to use in the kitchen. 5 min walk to the beach, about 10 mins return. Large grounds. Close to lots of restuarants and shops
We stayed for three weeks and found it perfect. It's only a short walk (maybe 1 minute) from the main road, and another minute or so to the beach. It's uphill and the balconies face the sea, so you get some amazing sunset views. Perfect with a beer and some nibbles. The apartments are cleaned to a very high standard every day, and a huge 5litre bottle of drinking water is provided as and when you need it. The Wi-Fi signal is absolutely excellent: my boyfriend and I both work online and had no issues. It's a nice peaceful place to stay but the hustle and bustle of the village isn't too far away, and there are loads of excellent restaurants, cafes and bars within a short walk. The owners are really friendly too, as is their cat Nina! :D Would highly recommend a stay here, perfect for a Lanta getaway.

Хозяева радушные и гостеприимные. Кафе и пляж в пешей доступности, пляж без лежаков и зонтов, выход на пляж через территорию других отелей
